Bio
Argyris Lazou is an active Pianist - Saxophonist - Composer - Master of Music and Author. He studied Musicology and
he also holds a degree in Piano and Theory of Music. He grew up with a jazz -
latin music background as his father was a double bass player.
As a Pianist at the age of fourteen he formed his hard rock band and later he was occupied with jazz and ethnic jazz music. He is a founder of Decauville Band a jazz band with rock- latin and soul influences.
As a Composer he scored White Dream Journey, Decauville Band Ancient Greek Music: The Jazz Trilogy Project, and Erik Satie Meets Jazz audio cds and he also written scores for several theatrical plays and educational projects.
As a Master of Music he is teaching Piano and theory of Music in higher and secondary education for over two decades and is official member of the European Network of National eTwinning Ambassadors.
